Introducing Tamiliva

Tamiliva makes learning Tamil engaging and effective. Search for words in both Tamil and English, favourite tricky words for quick access and practise pronunciation with guided audio. Learn phrases from Thirukkural and Phazhamozhi, jot down notes and test your knowledge through interactive quizzes.

My Role in the Project

Tamiliva was developed by Sri, Tanish and myself as part of the ProjectSF programme in SST Inc. I served as Co‑Founder, Chief Design Officer (CDO) and Assistant Chief Technology Officer (ACTO). In these roles I designed the user experience, crafted the app’s visual identity and implemented key features. Collecting and cross‑checking the 240 vocabulary words taught me perseverance, while coding the search bar and custom navigation bar deepened my SwiftUI skills. This project sharpened my collaboration, leadership and research abilities.
