In-Vitro Diagnostics Workshop
Workshop from Stratificare on IVD as part of the SST Discover Programme for the Secondary 4s. During the lab sessions, we experimented using a specific IVD test called the ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay). ELISA is a plate-based assay technique designed for detecting and quantifying soluble substances such as peptides, proteins, antibodies, and hormones. We conducted ELISA to test a protein expressed by the Dengue Virus.
Open House Video
A video to showcase parents and students one of the applied subjects offered only in SST, Biotechnology.
My role as the team leader was directing, acting, editing, scripting as well as being the camera man along with the delagation of tasks and ensuring participation during the pre-production stage. I worked with my classmates, Felicia(animator, script writer), Joshua(actor, script writer, camera man), Angel(actor, script writer) and Tanish(assistant director, script writer). We worked with our Biotechnology teacher, Ms Lim Chuay Sia, to make a good video that can summarise Biotechnology in SST. I learnt many skills from this project, such as collaboration, leadership, communication and many more.
